Happiness...Birthday

In two weeks I will be 61. Not quite as easy to say as 60. Somehow, with 60, I still had one foot in the 50's. New Years has always been a time of beginnings for me.  The new year (duh), my birthday and I actually gave birth to my first child in January. It seems natural I would begin this blog, related to my new adventure as a retiree in this glorious, some would say cold, grey and rainy, month of January.

I retired a month ago from a fantastic career in healthcare and am in the process of finding my new rhythm.  As I go along, I thought I would blog about what I discover, how I navigate and any and all things related to the aging process and retirement that others might find beneficial. I don't have a real plan/agenda yet for the blog, but I hope I'll find some areas of interest for anyone wanting to have the best life as they age.
